Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Operate the component:S13LF Door Lock Switch - Left Front - Unlock Switch
- Operate the component:S58A Rear Compartment Lid Unlatch Switch - Exterior @ E7 Rear License Plate Lamp - Pressed
Verify the component produces a clicking sound:M40 Rear Compartment Lid Latch
- If the component does not produce a sound

- Go to next step: If the component produces a sound
- If the component does not produce a sound
- All OK.
