The control module input circuit has an internal resistance connected to 12 V. |
| Control - Driver Door Unlock |
The output circuit is switched from ground to 12 V to activate the component. |
| Control - All Doors Lock |
The output circuit is switched from ground to 12 V to activate the component. |
| Control - Passenger Door Unlock |
The output circuit is switched from ground to 12 V to activate the component. |

Description |
| A23 Door Latch Assembly |
The door locks are actuated by a bidirectional DC motor that locks/unlocks the door so that it can not be opened from outside the vehicle (but still from inside). |
| K9 Body Control Module |
The module controls various vehicle functions like lighting, central door locking, power windows, etc. |
| S13 Door Lock Switch |
- The switch has a normally open contact.
- When the switch is activated, the signal circuit to the control module is grounded.
