Installation Procedure

    Vacuum Pump Gasket (3) - Install NEW

  2. Vacuum Pump (2) - Install
  3. Vacuum Pump Bolt (3) - Install and hand tighten [3x]

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Vacuum Pump Bolt (1) - Tighten in sequence [3x]

    1. First Pass: 7 N.m (62 lb in)
    2. Final Pass: 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

    Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Hose (1) @ Vacuum Pump - Install

    Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe - Install - Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement (LIH)

  7. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose - Install - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement 
  8. Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Replacement 
  9. Air Cleaner Assembly - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

    Intake Manifold Cover - Install

  11. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
  12. Start the engine and check for leaks.
