Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Exhaust Service Warning .

WARNING:

  1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement .
  2. Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger removal..
  3. Remove the exhaust manifold brace. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement .

    Remove the exhaust manifold fasteners (1) and DISCARD.

  5. Remove the exhaust manifold (3) and DISCARD the exhaust manifold gasket (2).
