Installation Procedure
Windshield (1) - Install - Adhesive Installation of Windshields
- With the aid of an assistant, install the windshield (1) and locating pin (2) to the vehicle.
- {If equipped} Inside Air Moisture and Windshield Temperature Sensor - Install
- {If equipped} Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor - Install
Inside Rearview Mirror (2) - Install
- Inside Rearview Mirror Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the electrical connector.
Multifunction Relay Module Bracket (1) - Install
Front View Camera (1) - Install
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover (1) - Install
Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Insert (1) - Install
Connect the electrical connector. [2x]
- Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Align the retainer clips with the slots in the A pillar and press the windshield garnish molding (1) into place.
- Windshield Garnish Molding- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]
- Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.
Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Install
- Windshield Washer Nozzle Hose@Windshield Washer Pump Hose - Connect
- Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install [9x]
Body Side Upper Front Applique (3) - Install
- Body Side Upper Front Applique Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension (1) - Install
Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arm (3).
- Position the windshield wiper arm (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.
- Windshield Wiper Arm Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) - Install
- Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield: Programming and Setup
- Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.
- Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
- Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
- Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
