Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

Inspect the electrical connectors and the ground circuits of the component for poor connections.

Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify DTC C0545 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
1. Rotate the steering wheel from left to right.Verify the scan tool parameter: Steering Input Torque - Increase
  - If the parameter value does not change
    Replace the component: Steering Column
  - Go to next step: If the parameter value changes
2. All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
All OK.
