Removal Procedure
- Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) , or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
- Remove the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Base) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Z71)
- NOTE:

Front Wheelhouse Liner- Right Side (3) - Remove - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
Use a suitable tool to rotate the drive belt tensioner (1) counterclockwise to relieve tension from the accessory drive primary belt (2).
- Remove the accessory drive primary belt (2) from the pulleys and tensioner (1).
- Slowly release tension on the drive belt tensioner (1).
- Clean and inspect the drive belt surfaces of all the pulleys.

Front Compartment Side Rail Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace (2) - Remove
Underbody Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove [10x]
- Underbody Front Air Deflector Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
Underbody Front Air Deflector (1) - Remove
Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Small (3) - Remove and DISCARD
- Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Large (4) - Remove and DISCARD
- Disconnect all electrical connectors.
Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (2) - Remove
- Remove the air conditioning compressor (3) from the vehicle.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor (1) - Remove
