Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Test or inspect for the following: Brake Pedal = Binding or Sticking
Refer to: Brake System Slow Release
- Ignition/Vehicle - OffF or greater than 5 min
- Ignition/Vehicle - On For greater than 60 s - Brake Pedal Not Applied
- Slowly apply and hold the brake pedal to half stroke for more than 2 seconds. Verify the scan tool Calculated Input Rod Position parameter is at least 10mm.
- Slowly release the brake pedal.
- Verify DTC C05D3 is not set
- If the DTC sets
Replace the component: A104 Brake Master Cylinder
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
