Water Pump Module Cleaning and Inspection

    NOTE:

    Do not soak or submerge the water pump module (1) in solvent.

    Clean the water pump module electrical connector (3), coolant passages (2), and mounting holes (4) of dirt, debris or blockage.

    2. WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Warning

  2. Dry the water pump module (1) with compressed air.
  3. Inspect the water pump module (1) for the following conditions:
    1. Damage to the coolant passages and connection ports (2)
    2. Damage to the electrical connector (3)
    3. Damage to the mounting holes (4)
  4. If any of the above conditions exist, replace the water pump module (1).
