Engine Switches

Several switches provide operating information to the logic module. These include the neutral safety, electric backlight, air conditioning clutch, and brake light switches. When 1 or more of these switches supplies the logic module with an "ON" signal, the module signals the AIS motor to increase idle speed to a specific RPM.

With air conditioning on and the throttle blade above a specific angle, the wide open throttle cut-out relay prevents the air conditioning clutch from engaging until throttle blade angle is educed.
