Temperature Sensor

The Coolant Temperature Sensor measures temperature of engine coolant. It is mounted in thermostat housing to monitor engine coolant temperature. It supplies logic module with a voltage signal which varies with coolant temperature. Information provided by this sensor allows logic module to demand slightly richer air/fuel mixtures and higher idle speeds during cold engine operation.
