Throttle Body: Removal
- Release fuel system pressure. Disconnect battery negative cable. Disconnect fuel injector wiring connector and 6-way throttle body connector.
- Remove ground wire from 6-way connector. Remove air cleaner hose, throttle cable and speed control and transmission kickdown cables (if equipped).
- Remove return spring and vacuum hoses. Loosen fuel intake and return hose clamps. Using a shop towel, twist and pull off each hose.
- Remove throttle body mounting screws. Lift throttle body from vehicle.
