Accelerator Cable
- Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Turn ignition off. Ensure sharp bends are not present in accelerator cable. Ensure inner cable has slack.
- With engine off, turn ignition switch to "ON" position for 15 seconds. Loosen accelerator cable adjusting nut (located in engine compartment) so throttle lever is free. Turn accelerator adjusting nut to a position where throttle lever just begins to move. Back-off adjusting nut 1/2 turn and tighten lock nut.
