RWD Models

  1. Loosen screw attaching switch assembly to pedal bracket. Slide switch assembly away from pedal blade or striker plate. Push brake pedal down and allow to return to free position. DO NOT  pull back on brake pedal at any time.
  2. Place proper spacer gauge on pedal blade. A clearance of .130-.150" (3.30-3.81 mm) is required for heavy duty stoplight switch and .060-.080" (1.52-2.03 mm) for stoplight/cruise control switch.
  3. Slide switch toward pedal blade until plunger is fully depressed. Tighten switch bracket screws to 75 INCH lbs. (8 N.m). Remove spacer. Ensure that stoplight switch does not prevent full pedal return.
