Engine Identification

Identification can be made by a number stamped on a pad on right side of block (below No. 6 spark plug). Engine can also be identified by 8th character of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). VIN is located on a Gray metal plate attached to left corner of instrument panel, visible through windshield.
