Theft Control Module R & I

Remove upper right instrument panel silencer and glove box assembly. Remove control module mounting bracket-to-instrument panel attaching screws. Disconnect anti-theft control module wiring harness connector and remove attaching screws. See Fig 1 .

To install, reverse removal procedure. If engine will not start, anti-theft system has disabled fuel injection system. Cycle ignition switch on and off. Remove ignition key and exit vehicle. With driver's door closed, lock and unlock door with key. Open door and start engine.
