Headlight Doors - Automatic: Description

"C" and "Y" body models use a single motor, centrally located behind radiator grille, linked to headlight doors by a torsion bar.

The headlight door drive motors are equipped with a manual override hand wheel to open or close headlight doors if failure occurs or servicing is required. The hand wheel is accessible through a flap-covered hole in the sight shield under the hood, behind bumper fascia. Several turns of hand wheel are required to before headlight door moves.
