Test 56F - All Taillights Out

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  at end of article.
  1. Turn ignition off. Using DRB-II, check resistance on terminal No. 12 (Black/Yellow wire) of Blue left body connector. Connector is located on extreme left side of dash, above CCD bus data link connector.
  2. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Black/Yellow wire between left body connector and rear lighting connectors. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance on terminal No. 13 (Black/Pink wire) of Blue left body connector.
  3. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Black/Pink wire between left body connector and left rear lighting 6-pin connector. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Black/Red wire between left body connector and right rear lighting 6-pin connector. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
