Complete System Deactivation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable, and tape cable terminal end. Locate and disconnect Yellow 2-pin clockspring harness connector, located at base of steering column.
  2. Reconnect battery cable, and drive vehicle. If Air Bag Restraint System (ABRS) is not functioning properly, perform air bag system diagnostics. Perform necessary repairs as soon as possible. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
