Test 30A - All Tail Lamps Out
NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove and inspect fuse No. 10. See Figure . If fuse is okay, go to TEST 30B. If fuse is open, gain access to relay center. Disconnect park lamp relay. See Figure . Check, clean and repair connections as needed. Put DRB in ohmmeter mode. Measure resistance at park lamp relay connector terminal "B" (Pink/Red wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Pink/Red wire between park lamp relay connector and fuse No. 10. Replace fuse No. 10.
- Disconnect lamp outage module 14-pin connector. Check, clean and repair connections as needed. Measure resistance at park lamp relay connector terminal "D" (Black/Yellow wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Black/Yellow wire between relay center and lamp outage module 14-pin connector. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Disconnect left and right tail lamp connectors. Check, clean and repair connections as needed. Measure resistance at lamp outage module 14-pin connector terminal No. 11 (Black/Pink wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Black/Pink wire between lamp outage module connector and tail lamp connectors for short to ground. Replace fuse No. 10. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace lamp outage module and fuse No. 10.
