Pump/Motor Circuits

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see wiring diagram.
  1. Stop actuator test. Turn ignition off. If pump/motor is heard running, replace relay box. Perform TEST VER-1A. If pump/motor is not heard running, disconnect relay box 10-pin connector. Inspect, clean and repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A. If connector is okay, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) 60-pin connector. Inspect, clean and repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A. If connector is okay, use scan tool in ohmmeter mode to check resistance of CAB connector terminal No. 16 (Gray/Light Blue wire). If resistance is less than 10 ohms, repair short to ground in Gray/Light Blue or Gray wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, go to TEST 20A.
