Power Door Lock Test 5A - Doors Fail To Lock From Any Switch
NOTE:
Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER INTRODUCTION. Perform TEST VER-1A
after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Using scan tool, actuate door locks. If door locks, LOCK, go to next step. If door locks do not LOCK, replace BCM.
- Using scan tool, read left front door ajar status and close left front door. If scan tool displays, LF DOOR: OPEN, replace BCM. If scan tool does not display, LF DOOR: OPEN, go to POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 2A .
