Test 30A - Chime Inoperative At All Times
NOTE:

- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.3L
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.5L
- Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
- Turn ignition on. Ensure all doors are closed. Using scan tool, actuate chime. If chime does not sound, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located behind right kick panel. If chime sounds, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, stop actuating chime. Turn ignition off. Remove key from ignition switch. Turn headlamps on and open left front door. If chime does not sound, go to TEST 31A. If chime sounds, go to next step.
- Turn headlamps off. Ensure left front seat belt is unfastened. Close left front door. Insert key in ignition switch. Turn ignition on. If chime does not sound, go to TEST 32A . If chime sounds, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Leave key in ignition switch. Open left front door. If chime does not sound, go to TEST 33A . If chime sounds, system is operating properly at this time
