Modulator Circuit

  1. Stop actuator test. Turn ignition off and close all doors. Disconnect CAB 60-pin connector. Inspect, clean and repair connector as necessary. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of CAB connector terminal No. 42 (Brown/Yellow wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Brown/Yellow wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Reconnect modulator assembly 10-pin connector. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of CAB connector terminal No. 42 (Brown/Yellow wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Brown/Yellow wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A.
