VTSS Test 1B - Disarming VTSS

NOTE: Perform VTSS TEST 1A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION and WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE after each repair.

CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Turn ignition off. Put key in left front door and turn to UNLOCK position. Using key, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read VTSS status. If scan tool displays CURRENT MODE DISARMED, system is functioning properly. Return to VTSS TEST 1A . If scan tool does not display CURRENT MODE DISARMED, perform VTSS TEST 11A .
