VTSS Test 11A - Left VTSS Disarm Malfunction

NOTE: Perform VTSS TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition on with engine off. Using scan tool, select THEFT ALARM, SENSOR DISPLAY and read LF DR DISARM voltage. If no voltage is displayed, go to VTSS TEST 11B  . If voltage is displayed, access driver's door key lock cylinder harness. Go to next step.
  2. Disconnect lock cylinder connector. Using scan tool, read LF DR DISARM voltage. If no voltage is displayed, replace driver's door key lock cylinder. If voltage is displayed, disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) 20-pin connector located at junction block and ensure connector is clean and not damaged. See Figure in CHIME TEST 3A. Go to next step.
  3. Using external voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 19 (Light Green/Orange wire) on BCM 20-pin connector. If voltage is .5 volt or less, replace BCM. If voltage is .5 volt or more, repair Light Green/Orange wire for short to voltage.
