Motor Test
Remove power seat switch. Disconnect wiring harness connector. Check harness connector terminal No. 5 for battery voltage and terminal No. 1 for a good ground. Connect a jumper wire between positive battery terminal and specified terminal of power seat motor connector. See POWER SEAT MOTOR & HARNESS TEST table. See Fig 1 . Connect another jumper wire between ground and specified terminal of power seat motor connector. Replace motor if it does not operate as specified.
