DTC P0700: EATX Controller DTC Present

NOTE: Monitored with ignition on and engine running. Set condition is when any DTC is set in Transmission Control Module (TCM). Possible causes are: Electronic Automatic Transmission (EATX) controller START RUN counter is zero.

Start engine. Using scan tool, read Powertrain Control Module (PCM) DTCs. If EATX CONTROLLER DTC is present and START RUN counter is zero, using scan tool, read transmission DTCs and repair as necessary. If EATX CONTROLLER DTC is not present and START RUN counter is not zero, test is complete.
