Service Intervals: Neon

Check transaxle fluid level when performing other underhood services. Normal service interval is not available from manufacturer. Under severe service conditions, change transaxle fluid, adjust bands and replace transaxle filter every 15,000 miles. Severe service conditions are conditions such as continuous operation during freezing temperatures, continuous operation in stop and go traffic, long periods of engine idling, trailer towing, police, taxi, local delivery service or operating in dust or excessively hot conditions.
