Test VER-5A3: OBD-II Monitor Verification
- Using scan tool, monitor the pretest enabling conditions until all conditions have been met to run the appropriate monitor. Run the appropriate monitor for the repaired DTC.
- If the repaired OBD-II DTC was reset, or the OBD-II monitor failed after running, the repair is not complete. Check for related Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) or flash updates. If repaired DTC or another DTC exists, perform appropriate DTC test.
- If the monitor ran and the good trip counter changed to one or more, the repair was successful. Clear DTCs from PCM. Repair is complete.
