DTC P0700: EATX Controller DTC Present: Testing

Start engine. Using scan tool, read Powertrain Control Module (PCM) DTCs. If EATX CONTROLLER DTC is present and START RUN counter is zero, using scan tool, read transmission DTCs and repair as necessary. See appropriate ELECTRONIC CONTROLS article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. If EATX CONTROLLER DTC is not present and START RUN counter is not zero, test is complete.
