Ignition Switch

NOTE: For ignition switch circuit function, see IGNITION SWITCH CIRCUIT FUNCTIONS table.

Remove ignition switch. See IGNITION SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check continuity between appropriate switch terminals with switch in specified position. See IGNITION SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 . If continuity is not as specified, replace ignition switch.

⁽¹⁾	With key in ignition, continuity exists between terminals No. 2 and 3 for key-in switch.

⁽²⁾	Continuity should not exist between any terminals.
