Steering Column Switches: Description

WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation involving steering column components. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.

A multifunction (combination) switch incorporates headlight, turn signal, dimmer/passing, wiper/washer and hazard warning switches into one unit. Ignition switch is also mounted on steering column. Cruise control switches are mounted on each side of horn pad on steering wheel.
