A/C Discharge Line: Removal

  1. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. Recover the refrigerant from the system. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.
  2. Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer wire harness. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Remove the A/C pressure transducer. See A/C PRESSURE TRANSDUCER  .
  3. Disconnect the discharge line at the compressor using an M13 Hex wrench for 2.7L, and a 6 mm Allen wrench for 3.2L and 3.5L. Disconnect the discharge line at the A/C condenser using an M13 Hex wrench.
