Test VER-4A: Speed Control Verification: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Plymouth Breeze, 2000 Dodge Stratus, and 2000 Chrysler Cirrus. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
If Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is replaced, the correct vehicle mileage and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be programmed into PCM to prevent Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) from being stored in Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) module. To program PCM and clear DTCs from ABS and SRS modules, proceed to appropriate procedure. On models equipped with Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM), if PCM is replaced, the secret key data must also be updated to enable engine starting. To update secret key data, proceed to appropriate procedure.
