Coolant Outlet Connector - 2.7L: Installation

- Clean sealing surfaces. Inspect gaskets for tears and cuts. Replace as necessary.
- Install outlet connector and tighten bolts to 12 N.m (105 in.lbs.) (Figure).
- Inspect and replace heater supply tube O-ring as necessary.
- Lubricate O-ring and insert heater tube assembly into outlet connector. Tighten screws to 3 N.m (30 in.lbs.).
- Install upper intake manifold (Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD -- UPPER ).
- Fill cooling system (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
