MULTIFUNCTION Switch: Removal

  1. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Ensure negative battery cable is disconnected from stud on strut tower and isolated from all other components.
  2. Remove tilt lever. Remove screws retaining lower and upper steering column covers. Remove lower and upper column covers.
  3. Remove multifunction switch mounting screws and connectors. Remove multifunction switch.
