DTC Test No. 69: EATX Controller DTC Present

NOTE: Electronic Automatic Transaxle (EATX) controller may also be referred to as Electronic Automatic Transmission Electronic Control Module (EATX-ECM) or Transmission Control Module (TCM).

DTC is set when a malfunction is detected by Electronic Automatic Transmission Electronic Control Module (EATX-ECM). EATX-ECM will send an input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) setting a DTC. Possible cause is sensors and/or actuators related to EATX-ECM have failed, defective EATX-ECM or defective PCM.
