Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

TP sensor is mounted on throttle body and delivers input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to indicate throttle position. TP sensor input signal will vary from approximately .5 volt at idle position to approximately 4.0 volts at full throttle. PCM uses input signal along with other various input signals for controlling fuel injector pulse width and ignition system.
