Flex Plate: Installation

- Position flex plate with backing plate on the crankshaft (Figure).
- Apply Mopar® Lock & Seal Adhesive to the flex plate bolts.
- Install flex plate bolts (Figure). Tighten bolts to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.).
- Install the transaxle. (Refer to 42LE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE )
