OVERVIEW

This bulletin identifies the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter part numbers and programming procedures.

DISCUSSION

Many of the 2001 model year RKE systems have changed internally (data format). The physical look and function is very similar to prior models however, the changes in the data format has created a major change in the transmitter programming procedure.

PROPER RKE TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING REQUIRES

  1. The DRB III operating with 50.6 software or higher.
  2. Only the transmitter part number specified for the model year should be used.
