Component Tests: Fuse

  1. Locate fuse No. 6 in fuse block, located in left side of instrument panel. Connect negative voltmeter lead to ground. With positive lead, check each terminal of fuse for voltage.
  2. If battery voltage exists on both sides, fuse is good. If battery voltage exists on only one side, fuse is defective. Replace fuse and recheck. If battery voltage does not exist on either side, check for open or shorted circuit to fuse box. Repair as necessary. If battery voltage exists on both sides, check motor. See MOTOR  .
