Ride Height Adjustment: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Chrysler Prowler, 2001 Plymouth Prowler, 2000 Plymouth Prowler, 1999 Plymouth Prowler, and 1997 Plymouth Prowler. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When performing an alignment on the vehicle, the vehicle must be at its proper curb height. Curb height is the height the vehicle should be at when it has full tank of gas, all fluids filled to their proper levels and has no passengers or additional weight added.

Though curb height on this vehicle is not adjustable by changing the coil spring preload, if a vehicle is found to be above or below the curb height specification, the coil springs can be replaced as a separate component of the shock absorbers. If the specified coil springs are installed, the vehicle should be at the correct curb height.
