Pretest Inspection

Verify customer complaint. Inspect all system fuses. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Check components for visible damage. Check components for loose/poor connections, corrosion and backed-out terminals. Check for damaged wiring. Check ground connections. See GROUND DISTRIBUTION in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL. Correct any obvious problems before continuing with testing. If no obvious problems exist, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
