Powertrain Control Module: Notes

NOTE: For circuit identification and wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . After each repair procedure has been completed, reconnect all components to ensure system is functioning properly, perform the following:

For 2.7L, see POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 under VERIFICATION TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, SEBRING SEDAN & STRATUS SEDAN - 2.7L article.

NOTE: Do not probe the PCM harness connectors. Probing the PCM harness connectors will damage the PCM terminals resulting in poor terminal to pin connection. Install Special Tool 8815 to perform diagnosis.
