Knock Sensor

On 2.4L, knock sensor is located on side of cylinder block, in front of starter. On 2.7L, knock sensor is located on cylinder block, below lower intake manifold. Individual component testing is not available from manufacturer. If knock sensor or wiring circuit failure exists, a DTC may be stored in the powertrain control module.
