Generator DECOUPLER Pulley: Installation
- Install the Generator Decoupler to the generator shaft.
- Use Special Tool #8433 (Figure
) to tighten the Generator Decoupler (Fig 1
). Refer to the TORQUE
for the proper torque.

- Install a new decoupler pulley cover.
- Install the Air Box, refer to the ENGINE
for more information.
- Raise vehicle and support.
- Install accessory drive belt, refer to the COOLING SYSTEM
for proper procedures (Figure
).
- Install the right front lower splash shield.
- Lower vehicle.
- Connect battery negative cable.
