Automatic Day/Night Mirror: Removal
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Insert a 5 mm metal dowel into the hole on the windshield side of the mirror base.
- Rotate the mirror base approximately 90 degrees to the left or right.
- Remove the courtesy lamp. See INTERIOR ILLUMINATION/LIGHTS article.
- Disconnect the mirror harness connector.
- Feed the harness connector and harness past the opening in the headliner and remove the mirror assembly.
