Power Mirror Switch: Removal

WARNING: SEE AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS ARTICLE BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY DOOR, STEERING WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. FAILURE TO TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the center console. See BODY article.
  3. Release the retaining clip using a suitable tool (1) and remove the power mirror switch from the center console.
