Shroud - Lower: Installation

  1. Install the lower shroud on the steering column (Figure ). Install the 2 screws attaching the lower shroud to the steering column.
  2. Install the tilt lever on the steering column and install the mounting screw (Figure ).
  3. Install the upper shroud on the steering column by snapping it onto the lower shroud. Make sure there are no gaps between the two shrouds once the upper shroud is installed.
  4. Install the parking brake release cable on the parking brake release handle in the lower instrument panel cover (Figure ).
  5. Connect the wiring harness to the trunk release switch in the lower instrument panel cover (Figure ).
  6. Install the lower instrument panel cover using the retaining clips along the top and right edge.
  7. Install the two screws behind the fuse panel cover attaching the lower instrument panel cover to the instrument panel (Figure ).
  8. Install the fuse panel cover on the left end of the instrument panel (Figure ).
